A die-cut window can let the wax color and fragrance label show through before the box opens, which matters when a scent story or seasonal colorway is part of what's being sold. A fully enclosed box keeps that reveal for the moment the lid comes off instead. Either can carry a printed interior or an insert card — the choice is about which moment the gift leads with, not a fixed rule for candle sets generally.
